Clyde Shabazz is the host of “In The Green” - Which is Michigan’s longest running environmental and social justice issues talk show. He has also recently tried his hand at writing and directing Michigan made films like "Hi Clyde" and the ill-fated "Mr. Green".

Clyde Shabazz’s second film depicts a future Detroit police state world where the Democrats act more like Republicans than Republicans. Two star crossed young lovers Griff and Ivy are caught up in their parent’s political follies as the Guzzler and Green families duke it out over a lawn cutting issue. It seems Michigan’s environment has degraded so badly the only natural wildlife and rare old growth trees in the state can only be found in Brightmoor. A long overgrown and economically neglected and community on the westside of Detroit. When the U.S. National Park Service discovers rare old growth trees on their properties a massive land rush is on and the political antics begin.
